If you’re passionate about your work, you probably experience some work-related stress. While stress is a normal byproduct of hard work, it is not only bad for your health but it also takes a toll on your ability to enjoy life outside of the office.
Success Magazine featured a story last month with five steps for controlling stress. According to the article, there are two kinds of people in this world, those who believe they can make things happen and those who believe things happen to them. The first group – they call “the Empowered” – use stress and anxiety to fuel their passion, instead of pitying themselves. The Empowered were found to sell more, provide better customer service, adjust to new work assignments and earn a higher annual income.
